    Gas furnace died (1987 vintage, may it rest in peace) on a Saturday November 20, 2021. Cold nights were forecasted for the following week. Called several HVAC emergency service companies no luck until called Farnen & Dermer – was I lucky! A Farnen & Dermer HVAC Tech would be there between 1 & 2 pm that day, they communicated by text & phone call. Unit was deemed not repairable by the Tech, Although when he tapped on gas valve furnace sparked to life. The Farnen & Dermer HVAC Tech gave me quote for new gas & AC unit – reasonable price and could be installed Monday/Tuesday. I asked about financing, they had it. The HVAC Tech gave good advice suggesting I go to their website to investigate. Sadly the furnace unsparked its life that evening. I spoke to several friends about quoted cost, one friend recently had that ‘home’ company that gets confused with that “gas” company install gas & AC unit and said the quoted cost was good deal. My dog was not keen on being a hand warmer that evening so I went to the Farnen & Dermer website was ok’d for the financing and accepted their quote. Got a text Sunday afternoon wanting to know if HVAC system could be installed that Monday – SURE CAN - I texted back. Reply was HVAC Technicians would be there Monday morning 8-9am. HVAC Technicians communicated by text & phone call – there at 8:15, completed around 3:05 pm. Again was very fortunate to have contacted Farnen & Dermer
