They came through once again! Our water heater got a crack and water was everywhere. I called, and they had someone at the house within 20 minutes. I was expecting them to turn everything off then make an appointment for repair for another day, but nope! Eric made a call and began the work right away. Fast and Efficient Service
Losing heat during the night when it’s really cold is no fun! Called at 11:50 a.m. and someone came at 1 p.m. Fast, efficient, and explained everything clearly. Charlie was great!! It's now 3:30 p.m. and the house is getting back to normal.

The system was acting wonky, shutting down every 5 minutes or so, taking 3 hours to raise the temperature 5 degrees. I called Farnen & Dermer on a Friday morning around 8:30, explained my problem, and by 10 o’clock a technician was here. Glenn has been here in the past and I can’t say enough about the quality of his work; it’s just so reliable. He diagnosed the problem, spent several hours here making the corrections, and explained everything to me in detail that I was able to fully understand. The cost was well within reason. Highly recommend Farnen & Dermer for all of your HVAC needs.

1/15/2025 - Called Farnen and Dermer about an issue with my auxiliary heat. On the call, it was determined that a service call was necessary. Eric and his assistant were here very quickly and worked diligently in the cold to take care of the problem. I really appreciate the help I received over the phone and Eric’s work to correct the problem. I was assured again that it was the right choice to have Farnen & Dermer to take care of my HVAC system.
10/8/2024 - Had Farnen and Dermer do the fall maintenance on my HVAC system they installed last fall. The technician, Glenn, was pleasant and courteous. He took care of checking the system, inside and outside, and then took the time to explain what he’d done and my part in maintaining the system. I’m very pleased with the new system. All my experiences with F&D technicians have been good. Once you find a good company, I believe changing filters and routine servicing makes the difference in how well a system works and how long a system lasts.
I called Farnen & Dermer for my HVAC’s routine service. Eric and another young man, whose name I didn’t get, were here at the scheduled time after alerting me by text they were on their way. I really appreciate that they do that. After looking over my 18-year-old equipment, they explained the issues, which allowed me to make the decision that now was the time to replace the system. They explained system options and costs very clearly and after checking, they scheduled the installation for the next day! Caleb was here as scheduled and began work and was then joined by RJ. They worked all day and kept me updated on their progress. After they were done, they showed me everything and explained future maintenance and service. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with home repairs! And I’m so glad I was able to have it taken care of before the old system broke down in the middle of winter! I recommend Farnen and Dermer for its great communication, products, customer service, and overall business practices!
